Up to € 100,000 funding for Romanian ICT companies
The Romanian Ministry of Communication has released information about a new funding option for small companies in the ICT sector. With 2 funding streams, the new programme will support small companies in developing software and high-tech products.
Up to € 10,000 will be awarded for small companies developing tailor-made software products, with a funding intensity of 60%, covering salary costs with new employees (max 3 software engineers), as well as limited information-publicity and initial marketing activities, for a period of maximum 12 months.
Up to € 100,000 will be awarded small companies developing high- tech products (hardware and/or software), with a funding intensity of 60%, to cover salary costs with existing or new employees (2- 4 persons), as well as limited information-publicity, initial promotion for market-uptake of the new product, basic rent costs and other project support activities for a period of maximum 15 months.
The grant for both funding streams will be disbursed based on a single Payment Claim at project end, upon market uptake of the new product resulting from the project.
