Up to GBP 6 million to be invested in innovative projects, that encourage and stimulate the development of demonstrators of robotics and artificial intelligence (RAI) for extreme and challenging environments.
The programme is expected have two phases. The first phase is to focus on technical feasibility studies of individual technologies, systems or subsystems for off-shore energy, nuclear energy, space and deep mining applications. The second phase will focus on experimental developments of fully-integrated systems.
Projects should range in size from total costs of GBP 50,000 to GBP 500,000.
