UK Innovation funding – up to GBP 5 million in the Shanghai – UK industrial challenge programme funding competition

Up to GBP 5 million will be available to invest in collaborative research and development projects attracting Shanghai and UK registered companies. The aim of this competition is to stimulate economic growth in China and the UK in the following 2 areas: future cities and transformational or disruptive innovation leading to novel, new products, processes or services drawn from any technology, engineering or industrial area.

Innovate UK will fund around 10 projects across the 2 areas, which should last up to 36 months.
