    UK Innovation funding – up to GBP 13 million for energy catalyst projects addressing the global need for clean, affordable and secure energy

    Up to GBP 13 million to be invested in highly innovative projects, that address the global need for clean, affordable and secure energy. Proposals must address 3 elements: cost, emissions and security of supply. This is a three stage competition open for UK organizations, international partners, SMEs, universities and research organizations:

    • early stage competition stream: for technical feasibility projects, which can last up to 1 year, with total costs ranging from GBP 50,000 to GBP 300,000.
    • mid stage competition stream: for industrial research projects, which can last up to 3 years, with total cots ranging from GBP 50,000 to GBP 1,5 million.
    • late stage competition stream: for experimental development projects, which can last up to 3 years, with total costs ranging from GBP 50,000 to GBP 10 million.
