    Up to EUR 378.000 innovation grants for collaborative research & innovation projects on the Romanian market.

    The Executive Agency for the funding of Research, Development and Innovation has launched a set of three complementary funding programmes addressing early and medium stage innovation projects (Technology Readiness Level 2-6) developed in consortia comprising both enterprises and research organizations.

    Eligible projects comprise typical research & innovation activities (fundamental research, industrial research, experimental development) as well as innovation support services. The project topics should be in line with the intelligent specialization fields on the Romanian market.

    Demonstration projects, led by private or public research organizations can get grants up to EUR 133.630/ project. Option for partnership with one enterprise and/ or with another research organisation. The programme has a total budget of EUR 26.727.000, with EUR 4.454.343 allocated for the May-June 2016 call.

    Pilot innovation projects, led by enterprises and developed in partnership with at least one research organisation (private or public), can get grants up to EUR 378.600/ project. The programme has a total budget of EUR 18.930.958, with EUR 2.366.370 allocated for the May-June 2016 call.

    Research & Innovation partnership projects for Know-How Transfer to industrial companies. Projects led by universities or national research institutes, developed in partnership with one enterprise, can get grants up to EUR 102.450/ project. The programme has a total budget of EUR 12.472.160, with EUR 1.559.020 allocated for the May-June 2016 call.

    With funding intensities of up to 80% for enterprises, the programme is open to both SMEs and large enterprises.
