February 2016 update: Following a positive experience for the 2009 – 2014 funding cycle with this mechanism, we have compiled a detailed study with the results of EEA&Norway Grants across the Romanian market, with focus on programmes addressing private sector enterprises. The Romanian private sector has accessed EUR 31,734,163 in grants for approved projects in the 2009 – 2014 funding cycle. The largest project was awarded EUR 1,499,985. There were 56 approved projects involving 49 businesses, out of which 33 projects had Norwegian partners. Considering that the total allocated funding for Romania is EUR 305 million, the private sector has only accessed 10.4% of the allocated grants. Please access our study here.
January 2016 update: Following a positive experience for the 2009 – 2014 funding cycle with this mechanism, we have compiled a detailed study with the results of EEA&Norway Grants across CEE markets, with focus on programmes addressing private sector enterprises. The private sector has accessed to date EUR 166,732,346 in grants for approved projects for the 2009 – 2014 funding cycle, accounting for more than 23% of the total allocations for the aforementioned six programmes. The private sector from Poland has received the most funding – EUR 87,229,769, followed by the Romanian private sector enterprises that accessed grants worth EUR 31,734,163.
