Energy efficiency funding for large industrial enterprises
200,000 EUR grants available for industrial enterprises in Romania to implement monitoring systems for energy consumption, as EU funding under the Operational Programme for Large Infrastructure.
With funding intensities up to 100%, the funding scheme addresses enterprises across the mining and manufacturing industries, with significant annual energy consumptions (over 1,000 tonne of oil equivalent) ¬ 11,630 MWh), looking to invest in complex monitoring systems as a prerequisite for improving their energy efficiency performance.
Eligible expenses include most of the equipment and/ or facilities needed for the implementation of such systems (specialized hardware & software, remote terminal units, data communication systems, master stations, computerized data processing systems, other specialized equipment).
The call opening is expected in the first half of 2016, with an estimated total budget of EUR 11.6m. Submission of applications will be ongoing, with funding approval to be awarded on a first-come first-serve basis, subject to a minimum of 80% score.
