EIC contract for Winnovart. Business and Investment Insights

We are delighted to announce that we have been awarded a contract by the European Innovation Council (EIC) to deliver “Business and Investment Insights for EIC Strategic Intelligence” services, following a public tender in 2024, as part of a consortium led by a prominent European VC.

The purpose of this contract is to provide business and investment insights, including analysis of overall market patterns and trends, as well as monitoring the performance and impact of EIC beneficiaries, to support strategic intelligence at the European Innovation Council.

We are very much looking forward to working closely over the next 24 months with the team at EIC/EISMEA and some of its key stakeholders and ecosystem partners.

Doru-Cristian Coretchi founder at Winnovart: “This contract follows a very substantial independent research activity we have done at Winnovart in recent years around blended funding programmes in Europe, as well as awareness raising across the VC ecosystem about the opportunities offered by this type of funding (bringing together government grants and private investments). The European Innovation Council is probably the most prominent funding agency in Europe and its EIC Accelerator/ EIC Fund the biggest blended funding programme we can see today. We believe in EIC’s work and are very happy to contribute to this project. We also hope to see more funding agencies adopting a similar approach to monitoring and supporting the companies they support and invest in”

Tender details:

  • Contracting authority: EISMEA - European Innovation Council and SMEs Executive Agency

At Winnovart, it is part of our mission to bridge the gap between stakeholders of the grants-funding market-space across Europe and we believe in the synergy between private investment and government funding.
