EEA & Norway Grants in Lithuania – 14 million euro to be available for Lithuanian companies in 2019
14 million euro to become available to Lithuanian companies for business innovation projects during 2019-2020 under EEA&Norway grants. It is expected that 75% of the budget will go to SMEs; 2 calls to be launched (minimum grant of 200Keur); funding intensities up to 50%.
Innovation Norway has published updated information regarding the funding available for businesses on the Lithuanian Market under the EEA&Norway grants 2014-2021.
Main highlights
The Business Development, Innovation and SMEs programme is a business programme aiming to increase value creation and sustainable growth in Lithuania.

Areas of Support and Programme Specifics
Areas of Support:
– Innovative technologies, processes and services
– Sustainable business development
– Greening of existing businesses and processes
– Development and implementation of innovative products and services
Programme Area Specifics:
The Programme is targeted at private businesses. The aim is to allocate 75% of the funding to SMEs. The implementation of the Programme will focus on creating higher added value products, services and processes in two specific areas: green industry innovations, including bio economy (60%), and ICT (40%).
Calls for Proposals
Two calls will be launched. One under Green industry innovation, including bio-economy, and one call under the ICT focus area. Under both calls the minimum grant amount will be €200,000. Maximum grant rate for these projects will be 50% of total eligible costs.
Travel Grants
Activities related to business to business bilateral cooperation will encompass a wide range of activities, in particular organisation of matchmaking events for Lithuanian and Norwegian entities and Travel Support for entities from Lithuania and Norway to participate in networking, sharing and transfer of knowledge, technology, experience and best practice during the implementation period of the Programme.
Travel support for individual partner search will be available prior to the calls.
