The Renewable Energy/ Rondine programme Romania under the EEA Grants 2009-2014, has been officially launched today, 26.11.2013.
The programme will be operated by the Romanian Environment Fund Administration, in partnership with The Norwegian Water Resources and Energy Directorate and The OS National Energy Authority of Iceland.
The programme will focus on 2 components- Hydropower and Geothermal, with a total budget of 12.657.406 Euro to be equally shared between the 2 components, and will offer grants of minimum 170.000 Euro / project. The programme addresses all types of applicants, with funding rates of up to 50% of the total eligible costs for the private sector and up to 100% for the public sector.
Submission period is expected during January-March 2014. The deadline for the implementation of the approved projects will be 30.04.2016.
