Consultations have begun for EEA & Norway Grants priorities & programmes | Winnovart

Public consultations have begun on the “Blue Book”, which sets out the priority sectors and eligible programme areas under the EEA & Norway Grants 2014-2020 funding period. During this period, donor will contribute EUR 2.8 billion to 15 EU countries. 3 out 5 priority sectors expected to applicable for private sector, comprise of project areas:

Innovation:

• Innovative technologies, processes and services
• Sustainable business development
• Greening of existing businesses and processes
• Development and implementation of innovative products and services
• Research within the priority sectors and/or programme areas of the EEA and Norway Grants or in other agreed areas
• Application of research result
• Education and training, including co-operation between education-research-business
• Access to employment and participation in the labour market

Education:

• Education and training systems and work-based learning
• Transition from education and unemployment to work
• Access to health care systems

Environment:

• Environmental monitoring and modelling
• Management and control of hazardous substances
• Energy efficiency in production, distribution and/or end use
• Renewable energy production and/or distribution
• Waste to energy
• Carbon capture and storage
